Caruso St. John: Brick House, London 2005 Photo:Hélèna Binet Caruso (born in 1962) was educated at McGill University in Montreal. In 1990, in collaboration with Peter St. John, he started up the architectural drawing office, Caruso St. John, and achieved international renown with the design of The New Art Gallery in Walsall in 2000. In addition to his work with the drawing office, Caruso has been teaching at a number of European universities. Today he is a professor of architecture at the University in Bath.
